Norm Howard
(Electric, Acoustic and Bass Guitar)
Having been with Simply Guitars since it's inception, Norm is now in his sixth year on the faculty and continues to share his passion and enthusiasm for the instrument with people of all ages.
Having been playing guitar for over 35 years he is interested in all styles of music from blues, rock, jazz and classical. His major influences include Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Winter, Ritchie Blackmore, Lightnin' Hopkins, Barney Kessel and Wes Montgomery. Improvisation and the blues are the common threads that permeate Norm's playing.
He believes in a relaxed but structured learning environment, utilizing both theoretical and hands-on approaches.

Cliff Chamberlain
(Electric, Acoustic, Classical and Bass Guitar)
Cliff is a well rounded guitarist and musician with over 25 yrs of playing and performing experience. He is well versed in numerous styles: rock, blues, classical, jazz, country and many more. Cliff has taught at various schools in the Ottawa area for over 14 years. His teaching approach works for the student by teaching them their favourite songs and styles, while giving them the essential fundamentals to progress in any style they choose.
Now finding a solid base at Simply Guitars, he is here to share his wealth of knowledge with the public. Come in and experience the music.

Sandi Newton Sedore
(Piano)
Sandi is a classically trained pianist who received her grade 9 from the Royal Conservatory of Music. Sandi works for a local school board and lends her talent to Music Rhythm groups, accompanies choirs and plays at special events. She has taught group music lessons to children focusing on rhythm, theory, notation and musicality. While teaching the fundamentals of music Sandi encourages her students to think and feel musically and to be inspired by the music in their lives. Her students success is measured by increased enjoyment as well as technical proficiency.
Ryan Crawford
(Guitar)
To most customers at Simply Guitars Ryan is the friendly face behind the counter. To some, Ryan is a guitar instructor who focuses on the individual needs of every student and tries to make every lesson fun and educational. Ryan has been playing guitar for 15 years and also has been teaching for the last 5 years. His teaching method focuses on music fundamentals and developing a student's personal style. Ryan's influences include Jimmy Page, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Synyster Gates.

Jansen Richard
(Drums, Electric Drums)
Jansen has been playing drumset and percussion for over 13 years in the Ottawa area. Jansen has worked as a private music tutor, educating students in a wide variey of styles including Pop, Rock, Latin, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Metal, Blues and Electronic. His influences include Steve Gadd, Johnny Rabb, Akira Jimbo, Neil peart, Tommy Igoe, Carter Beauford, Billy Cobham and Jojo Mayer. Jansen's approach to teaching is a balance between building technique and adaptability that applies to all styles universally, while exploring in detail the intricacies of more specific musical genres. This approach provides students with the skills required to adapt to any musical environment, whilst giving them the knowledge-base and specific skills to excel and sound authentic in the styles of music they love and wish to focus on. Jansen maintains an active session career in various bands and projects, all of which can be seen and followed on his website.

Eric Leblanc
(Guitar, Bass, Classical)
Eric Leblanc is a product of the University of Ottawa's music program involving many years of determined learning and theory study. Previously hailing from Limelight music academy Eric brings with him, an experienced approach to teaching. Eric is also involved in a touring band based in the Ottawa area. He plays a wide spectrum of music styles, from heavy metal all the way to slap style acoustic. Eric is currently endorsed from a few local guitar manufacturers.
